Her forthright preaching style proved highly popular and established Bynum as one of the most imposing and sought after of the new generation of ministers to emerge in the 90s. She began preaching in the mid-80s and before long was conducting revival meetings throughout America and hosting her own television programme, Morning Glory. After leaving home she worked as a flight attendant and endured a failed marriage, before choosing to devote her life to God after hearing Bible teacher Joyce Meyer on the radio. Bynum grew up in a deeply religious household and was a regular at church throughout her childhood. This bible teacher, preacher and self-styled ‘prophetess’ has also recorded a number of bestselling worship albums.
